The constitution of a person refers to the balance of three main forces, or doshas (known as vata, pitta, and kapha) in the body at the moment of conception. Each person has a unique combination of all three.

Doshas maintain the health of the body. When out of balance, they create the symptoms of suffering.

Therefore, when we create a lifestyle routine comprised of foods, exercises, sleep patterns, and even colors and aromas, that are harmonious with our individual constitution, we have balance and health. Conversely, if we ingest through our senses that which is not compatible with our constitution, we experience dis-ease.

From there you will receive a customized daily regimen specific to your emotional, physical, mental, energetic and spiritual needs, that includes best food choices, yoga postures/movement, breathing, relaxation, meditation exercises, and more.

Package consists of initial consultation/assessment (90 minutes to 2 hours) and two follow up sessions of 90 minutes.

Reiki Energy Healing with a Reiki Master

Discover the gentle art of Reiki, a holistic energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports overall well-being. Reiki is a safe and gentle method of self-improvement that treats the whole person physically, emotionally, mentally, energetically, and spiritually. Clients seek out Reiki for balance, centeredness, relaxation, stress-reduction, and self-care. Reiki is based on the premise that life force energy flows through us and gives us life. During a reiki session, you will lay comfortably as the reiki practitioner rebalances the flow of energy through the body using their hands. Sessions may involve some light touch; most often the hands hover over the energy centers and nerve pathways of the body. Some clients report feeling radiating or tingling sensations of warmth. Sessions are deeply relaxing and unique to each person. Studies show that people who receive Reiki report improved sleep, reduced pain, and reduced anxiety. Some people schedule reiki sessions in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques they are receiving as a way to reduce side-effects and promote recovery. Reiki has been recognized by the Mayo Clinic as a beneficial service.

Reiki sessions are available via distance as well as in person. Distance reiki provides the same benefits as in-person reiki. For distance reiki, you will lay comfortably in your home, or any quiet, undisturbed place for an hour.  For in-person reiki, you may lay on a massage table or yoga mat in a comfortable, supported position.

Yoga Nidra

for Deep Relaxation, Stress Reduction, and Sleep Improvement

Yoga Nidra, or dynamic yogic sleep, is a state of expanded mental awareness and deep physical relaxation accessed through guided meditation and visualization.

In our session, I work with you on the development of your sankalpa—this is your long-term intention or resolve, the thing you are wanting to manifest next in your life. Then through progressive relaxation I guide you into Yoga Nidra, where you will visualize your sankalpa as a means of bringing that vision into reality. While the sankalpa is unique to each client, with as many sankalpas as there are imaginations, common examples include attaining optimal health, quitting smoking, passing an important exam, finding true love, obtaining the dream job, etc.

For the online Yoga Nidra session, you will lay comfortably in your own home on your bed or yoga mat. For the onsite Yoga Nidra session, you will choose to lay comfortably on a massage table or on a yoga mat in a supported savasana.

Yoga Nidra has been utilized for thousands of years by yogis in the East; and in recent years, it has gained popularity in the West. While in the state of Yoga Nidra, deep healing is possible, creativity is enhanced, and the capacity to manifest one’s goals and visions is maximized.
