Yoga Nidra, or dynamic yogic sleep, is a state of expanded mental awareness and deep physical relaxation accessed through guided meditation and visualization.

In our session, I work with you on the development of your sankalpa—this is your long-term intention or resolve, the thing you are wanting to manifest next in your life. Then through progressive relaxation I guide you into the state of Yoga Nidra, where you will visualize your sankalpa as a means of bringing that vision into reality. While the sankalpa is unique to each client, with as many sankalpas as there are imaginations, common examples include attaining optimal health, quitting smoking, passing an important exam, finding true love, obtaining the dream job, etc.

For the online Yoga Nidra session, you will lay comfortably in your own home on your bed or yoga mat. For the onsite Yoga Nidra session, you will lay comfortably on a massage table or a yoga mat in a supported savasana.

Yoga Nidra has been utilized for thousands of years by yogis in the East; and in recent years, it has gained popularity in the West. While in the state of Yoga Nidra, deep healing is possible, creativity is enhanced, and the capacity to manifest one’s goals and visions is maximized.
